Ammonia by ISE
Automated Ammonia Measurements by ISE
The Labfit AS3210 Automates the measurement of Ammonia using Ion Selective Electrodes (ISE). The system takes care of the chemistry enabling you to continue performing other tasks within the laboratory. The Labfit AS3210 Ammonia Analyzer complies to the following methods: ASTM D1426-89, APHA 4500-NH3 (F), (G), EPA 350.3 & USGS I-1524 . The Labfit Ammonia ISE Analyzer accommodates 180 samples and utilises non-volatile stirring with mechanical propellers. The Ammonia analyzer indicates on screen which samples has passed and witch have failed the analysis.
Ammonia Labfit ISE Measurement
Using an Ion Strength Adjuster solution the Labfit Ammonia Analyzer is able to provide fast and accurate results making your production more profitable. The Labfit AS3210 Ammonia Analyzer is ideal for measuring dissolved ammonia in wastewater or other aqueous non-organic solvent samples. The onscreen display [resents to you the status of the sample along with the ability to add a QC sample anywhere within the system. The powerful software allows you to easily modify and create method to suit your ammonia ISE analytical requirements.
Ammonia by ISE Benefits
Ammonia measurements by ion selective electrodes offer many benefits for the user. A key benefit is to you is cost savings. Measurement of ammonia by ISE is inexpensive per test as compared to other techniques which require more costly equipment. In addition, only a small sample size is required and minimal sample preparation is needed. For example, when testing according to Standard Methods 4500 – NH3 D, sample distillation is unnecessary. Unlike the Nesslerization technique for ammonia, toxic metals are not used in the ISE method. Automating the Ammonia measurement offers extra benefits such running a further 180 samples at the end of the day. The Ammonia Analyzer includes the Labfit LIMS connector which can be customized to suit your LIMS import export needs as required.
