Weigh Station for Loss on Ignition

The WS3000 Weigh Station fully compliments both the Labfit Thermogravimetric Analyzer and the Robotic Loss on Ignition systems. The Labfit Weigh Station will record the initial weights of the crucibles before prompting the operator to add the Loss on Ignition sample. After the sample has been added, the weigh station will then proceed to weigh the “Sample Weight” of the TGA crucible. When all the sample TGA crucibles have been weighed, the catch weight list can then be exported directly to the Labfit Thermogravimetric Analyzer or the Robotic Loss on Ignition system.

More Accurate LOI Weighing

The Labfit WS3000 Weigh Station weighs samples in a closed environments, reducing any risk of incorrect weights being recorded because of drafts of the like. The weighing mechanism can weigh to an accuracy of 0.1mg and weighs 2 samples at the same time. These weights are then recorded into a file ready for export to LIMS or publishing it directly to the Labfit TGA3000 Thermogravimetric Analyzer or the Labfit TGA4000 Robotic Loss on Ignition Analyzer. The Labfit W3000 Weigh Station can also be placed into flux mode whereby a different sample carousel is used. This carousel accomdates 36 platinum crucibles for weighing XRF flux.

Weigh Station Software

The Labfit WS3000 Weigh Station software has been developed for ease of use and greater productivity. When weighing the system can weigh 42 Loss on Ignition samples in under 2 minutes to an accuracy of 0.1mg. The WS3000 Weigh Station includes the Labfit LIMS importing feature whereby each field can be mapped into and from the system. This allows for greater flexibility to accommodate most LIMS systems available on the market.
